UNDSCOVERED CAFE is a space that embodies the identity of UNDSCOVERED.

Built around a bold contrast between cold metal materials and the brand’s signature blue, the space is composed with sculptural aesthetics at its core. A structured tile pattern meets irregular metal objects, while a geometric coffee machine sits like an object within the space—adding depth and rhythm. These elements go beyond simple details, leaving a clear imprint of UNDSCOVERED’s color and sensibility.

Inspired by a mechanical vault, the oversized steel door and its central wheel serve as a symbolic gateway that defines the first impression of the space. The heavy metal texture and industrial detailing create a sense of tension—like stepping into a new world—inviting visitors to experience the “undiscovered newness” that UNDSCOVERED stands for in everyday life.

UNDSCOVERED CAFE is a project designed to carry the brand’s philosophy through space, creating an experience that lingers longer than a single cup of coffee.

차가운 금속 소재와 시그니처 블루의 강렬한 조화를 바탕으로, 조형미를 중심에 둔 공간을 완성했습니다.
규격화된 타일 패턴 위로 비정형의 메탈 오브제와 기하학적 형태의 커피 머신이 하나의 오브제처럼 자리하며 공간에 입체감과 리듬감을 더합니다.
이러한 요소들은 단순한 디테일을 넘어, 언디스커버드의 브랜드 컬러와 감각을 선명하게 각인시킵니다.

Mechanical vault에서 영감을 받은 거대한 철문과 중앙의 휠은 공간의 첫 인상을 결정짓는 상징적인 장치입니다.
묵직한 금속의 질감과 산업적인 디테일은 마치 새로운 세계로 진입하는 듯한 긴장감을 만들며, **언디스커버드가 의미하는 ‘발견되지 않은 새로움’**을 일상 속에서 경험하도록 이끕니다.

The concept of UNDSCOVERED Café began with three keywords: coolness in the heat of Daegu, metal, and blue.
In a landscape where cafés both franchises and independents often lean toward similar wood-toned interiors, UNDSCOVERED stands as a bold and experimental design that goes against the familiar.
언디스커버드 카페의 컨셉은 무더운 대구에서의 시원함, 메탈, 블루—이 세 가지 키워드에서 시작되었습니다.
프랜차이즈든 개인 카페든 비슷한 우드톤 인테리어가 반복되는 흐름 속에서, 언디스커버드는 그 익숙함을 거스르는 대담하고 실험적인 디자인으로 완성된 공간입니다.

Instead of leaving it floating on its four chunky legs, we folded stainless steel to create a custom cover, dressing it up to better match the overall theme.

네 개의 뭉뚝한 다리 위에 떠 있는 듯한 원래 모습 대신, 스테인리스를 접어 커스텀 커버를 제작해 전체적인 테마에 맞도록 드레스업했습니다.
Inspired by the mosaic tiles of the New York City subway, one wall was decorated with tiles and mosaic tilework.
